Art Exhibition "Behind the Walls of Kylemore"
Each summer the art exhibition room in the Abbey is opened to exhibit the best of local artists.

Last year, Galway Artist, Sara Kyne created a beautiful collection of oil paintings depicting life at Kylemore Abbey. The paintings included portraits of the Benedictine nuns, images inspired by the Victorian Walled Garden and life on the farm at Kylemore. Sara has captured the beauty, energy and essence of the Kylemore estate and people who live and work here in her collection of paintings.
The exhibition is now closed. However, prints & a beautiful book created by Sara depicting the paintings from her Kylemore collection is available for purchase at the Kylemore Abbey craft shop.
