The gardeners at Kylemore have collected material from the garden and forest to decorate the abbey, gothic church and head gardener’s house.
Inside the Abbey, a giant fresh Christmas tree stands tall in the gallery hall. Together with log fires, the giant tree creates a wonderful scent and an enchanting atmosphere every year.
The chefs in the kitchen are also busy using recipes handed down by the Benedictine nuns to make mince pies, Christmas pudding and brandy butter. Mitchell's cafe has been transformed with sparkly Christmas decorations and delicious Christmas treats for everyone.
