Discover the Mitchell Henry Children's Play Trail!
As part of our commemorations of the 100 year anniversary of the death of Mitchell Henry, the 2nd year Furniture Design and Manufacturing Students of GMIT Letterfrack were invited to design and make children's play pieces for the Kylemore estate. The students have created 22 play pieces which are scattered around the Kylemore estate. Each piece has been inspired by a story of Kylemore and is made using wood fallen naturally on the estate. There are magically musical instruments, whispering tress and much more to discover.
