Guided Tours of the Abbey
Let our guide tell you the story of Kylemore from it's beginnings as a romantic gift to becoming home to Benedictine Community in 1920 as you walk through the restored rooms of the abbey.
Guided Tours of the Abbey: Complimentary Guided Tours of the Abbey are available every day from April to 31st October. The guided tours will take approx. 20 minutes and will run every hour on the hour from 10:00 to 16:00 during April, May, June, September and October and from 10:00 to 17:00 July and August. Guided tours of the Victorian Walled Garden
Guided Tours of the Victorian Walled Garden: Complimentary Guided tours of the Victorian Walled Garden are available once a day at 14:30 from April to October. During July and August there are 2 guided tours a day at 13:30 & 15:30. (Note: July and August tours also take in a tour of the abbey starting from the abbey at 13:00 & 15:00). The garden tour will take approx. 30 minutes. Meeting point for the garden tour is at Tea House. Groups can book a private tour of the garden. Guided Mountain Hikes
From May to September there are guided hikes available of the mountain at Kylemore. Let our trained guide bring you on a hike and discover spectacular Connemara scenery, history and geology.
